Besen Retail is happy to announce that 787 Ninth Avenue is leased. The new tenants moving in will be opening a Pizza Shop, not just any pizza shop, but $1 pizza!!! With neighboring tenants like Blue 9 Burgers, Pita Grill, Subway, and Holey Cream Ice Cream, the only thing this high traffic food block was missing is pizza. Problem solved, in just a few short months a brand new pizza store will be opening. You can never have enough pizza, especially is it’s only $1.

Before the New Year, Besen Retail announced our third annual Besen Retail awards. The very popular and highly debated category, coolest new store, had not one, but three winners. What can I say, we love retail!!! Anyway, since stumbling across Pop Bar in the West Village I can’t stop craving the $5 treat.

They’re Filming a Movie Across the Street…

The movie is called New Year’s Eve and is a follow up to last year’s star-studded Valentines Day, which basically means that everyone and their mother will be in it.

John Bon Jovi is billed as a “successful rock star,” Ryan Seacrest plays himself, and Uncle Jesse is making his first on-screen appearance since the first Bush Administration.
